The Upper West Side will be brimming with events this weekend. And despite a chance of storms on Saturday, it looks like we’ll have nice weather.

75th Street Block Association Block Blast: 75th Street will be closed off between West End Avenue and Broadway on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. for the block blast, which includes music, food, a rummage sale, and a bouncy castle among other events. More about it here.

Columbus Avenue Festival: This street fair on Sunday will stretch from 66th to 86th Street on Columbus Avenue. It includes rides, entertainment and tons of booths. Some local restaurants like Isabella’s will set up seating in the middle of the street.

West 69th Street Book Sale: The West 69th Street Block Association is holding its annual book sale on the Northwest corner of Columbus Avenue and 69th Street on Sunday. Proceeds go to beautifying the block. Thanks to Landmark West for the heads up about this.

JCC Open House: Lots of free events on Sunday, including performances, fitness classes, kids’ activities, yoga and mediation and pop-up shops. At the JCC on 76th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. More info here.

We’ll also have more events up on our calendar.

Please limit comments to 150 words and keep them civil and relevant to the article at hand. Comments are closed after six days. Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
