David Albert Mitchell was arrested on Thursday after being picked out of a lineup by a 73-year-old woman who said he raped her in Central Park on Wednesday morning.
He was charged with rape, assault, predatory sex act, criminal sex act, robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.
The New York Times reported that three rookie police officers found him walking around the area where the rape occurred — 74th Street in Central Park near Central Park West.
Mitchell has a rap sheet from West Virginia, the Daily News reported.
In fact the dirtbag was picked up Wednesday evening in front of the Super Runners Shop at 77th and Amsterdam. Numerous police and detectives swarmed the scene. I’m glad they got him but dismayed he was wandering around next to the playground.
if there is any justice in this world…….the powers that be would let me dole out the appropriate punishment
Note that this guy is from the South and has long arrest record for violent crime. And where does he come to?
the Upper West Side of course. The combination of New York’s law required to house everyone who shows up combined with the ultra left wing pandering politicians who advocate for these vagrants (Brewer, Rosenthal, Quinn, Dunne, Vito Lopez, etc etc etc…) is just too much to pass up..
