Another Upper West Side teacher’s aide has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse. This time Hany Abdalla of PS 84 on 92nd Street was arrested on allegations he made a sexual comment to a female student. Update: It turns out police arrested Abdalla for allegedly groping an 8-year-old girl and making her touch him, the New York Times reported. He was charged with sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. A PS 87 aide was arrested a few months ago. (DNAinfo)
Julian Kurita is on trial for stabbing his father to death in their 87th Street apartment in 2010. He allegedly told ambulance workers that his father deserved it because he molested him. (NY Daily News)
