Fratelli La Bufala, the Italian pizza joint coming to the corner of 76th and Broadway that we first wrote about almost a year ago, is nearing its opening date — really! I just got an invite to a preview on April 24, and the restaurant is expected to open sometime “after the 26 of April…a matter of a few more days,” a spokesperson told us today.
As of a couple of weeks ago, the restaurant was looking for employees, including servers and busboys. “We are not looking for a pizza-maker. We bring the pizza-maker from Italy,” the manager told me. To apply, head to the restaurant and drop off a resume, he said. Or call 602-790-0755.
