There’s been a surge in townhouse sales for more than $10 million in the past year. Usually, one or two sell in a given year, but last year there were four, and two more are in contract. The reason: buyers have been taking over buildings that used to house six to ten families, turning them into a single-family home and selling them to one mega-rich person.
