The Upper West Side was gentrified years ago, but a sudden proliferation of harp-playing seems to indicate that the gentrification has entered a new phase. Two people lugged harps (one of them is a hammered dulcimer, but that counts) to Central Park on Thursday afternoon to play medieval songs for the lords and ladies. The dulcimer player looked vaguely like French actor Gerard Depardieu (see photo and video below).
In this next phase of gentrification, we will return to a feudal system of land ownership, and each year pay tribute to the kings and queens by sacrificing an animal.

Harpsichord? It is a hammered dulcimer. Cheesus.
I love the diversity of life you can experience in Central Park, this is another great example.
Come on ! Get a grip over there. Cant you tell the obvious difference between banging and twanging?
And ! A casual glance at the net will indicate how legions of gutsy harp-playing men are now busy subverting the gentrified harp-babes.
