BAGELS & CO. ALREADY FEASTING ON H&H’S REMAINS

After H&H Bagels finally closed its doors on Wednesday, nearby Bagels & Co. spotted an opportunity. Even as people were still mourning the loss of the famous neighborhood institution on 80th Street and Broadway, wringing their hands over the future of a neighborhood dominated by banks and chain stores, Bagels & Co. knew that people…gotta…eat. So they stationed this guy directly in front of H&H, and let people know that they were just a block away at 79th Street and Amsterdam. I wonder if they had that sign made up yesterday.

Ahh, capitalism.
