PET STORE, SALON COMING TO WEST 60TH STREET

This just in for the folks in the southern end of the Upper West Side, courtesy of CityBiz Real Estate: Pawsitively Love, a pet store that sells pet accessories and offers services like grooming, will be moving into a 1,580 square foot space at 229 West 60th Street, just off of West End Avenue. The company already has a West 73rd Street location.

And salon owner Stephanie Xu will be opening a new spot at 243 West 60th Street, with manicures, pedicures, and waxing — yoo-hoo Anthony Weiner.

The stores will be on the ground floor of two new residential towers: The Sessanta and The Adagio.

No word yet on when exactly they will open.

The new businesses could soon have neighbors: “The leasing firm says day care centers, medical facilities and other dry-use tenants have expressed interest in the spaces,” CityBiz reports.
