News:
The city is installing free wi-fi in 20 parks this summer, including in various locations in Central Park. Of course, we’ve heard this promise before and it has never really come to fruition.

It’s still not clear whether the Robin Hood Foundation will try to reschedule the Black Eyed Peas concert in Central Park after it got canceled on Thursday because of a thunderstorm. No immediate plan to reschedule, a spokesman told the New York Times.

The New York Philharmonic cancels its free summer concert series, saying a stacked pre-season schedule made the company too busy. (NY1)
