Police “believe” that some of the culprits in the recent Central Park incidents are “young migrants who are committing these robberies.”

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the attack, which occurred near West 85th Street.

The officer was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, police said.
