There are some special fairs on Sunday in the neighborhood, with lots of gifts to consider for Hannukah (starts Sunday night!) and Christmas.
Sunday is the last day for Crafts at the Cathedral at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on 114th and Amsterdam. It’s from 1 to 6 p.m. Admission is $10, or $8 for students and seniors. More here.
Also on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. is the Grand Bazaar flea market in the playground at 76th and Columbus. Through the rest of the month, it will feature lots of gift booths through the rest of the month until Christmas. Profits benefit four local public schools. “Vendors include Stonehill Design, Science Seeds, Rose Suds, Elemental Hardware, Ayala Naphtali, aQK, Stephanie Putter Jewelry, Dyer & Sparks, JD Prints, Pierre Laborde, Wavelength Antiques, Lua Belle and more. Food and treats will be provided to purchase from DownEast Lobstah,Maze-Maze, Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop and others.” More here.
More holiday fairs are coming up and we’ll have more info on those shortly.
It’d be nice to hear about the fair before the last day.
Gee, I wonder, if Jesus were around, might He overturn some tables?
