The picture on the left looks like Park West Village – plenty of ways in and out of there.
Keep your doors locked if you want to keep your stuff.
Excellent camera images. DOES NOT look “White”, but Asian or Hispanic.
It had to be you …
I’m so glad Dannyboy said that, so i didn’t have to.
racist people usually ARE ignorant, and vice versa. there’s a very high statistical correlation, imho.
To be clear, that comment was not referring to UWSWhite.
Oh we knew, Erica 🙂
To be clear, your animus is meaningless.
No animus – just noting a pattern. Which you continued later.
Erica C did a service by pointing out how you consistently identify criminals as non-white.
You even mix up ethnicity and race in your attempt to do so.
You are racist AND ignorant.
“Hispanic” is not a race, they can be white or Asian too, Black, etc.
I think I’ve seen her a couple of weeks ago on CPW between 97 & 100, on the park side.
She looked Filipino to me.
How did she get into the building?
Same way people have been getting into non doorman or attended lobby buildings for ages; wait for someone to enter or exit and just go through the door. That and or ring various buzzers/intercoms saying “delivery” or whatever until someone opens the door.
You’d be surprised at how many people then and even right now simply hold front doors open for *anyone*, including people they do not personally know to enter a building.
Females in particular (especially and older woman such as pictured) are seen as less threatening than men, so again people just let them in.
The modern service/delivery culture also means plenty of people are coming and going into buildings all day. People just wait and follow UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Fresh Direct, USPS, food delivery or whatever into a building and or wait for same to exit (see above).
On the plus side, she does windows.
As much as I love the WSR, are incidents that happened a month ago, and 3 months ago really “news” at this point?
She’d have trouble getting into some UWS buildings:

Um, lock your doors?
