The Central Park Film Festival is this week, with the first two movies to be shown at Marcus Garvey Park on 124th Street, and the last four films in Central Park, at the stretch of grass between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive. Films start around 8 p.m.

Get ready to see great monuments to modern culture like The Godfather, along with the indulgent Leonardo DiCaprio vehicle The Great Gatsby. Hey, it’s probably someone’s favorite flick.

Looks like so much fun but other than The Godfather, this is a hideous film list! I’m not so sure The Godfather is right for park viewing either….
