“Bombastic?” WSR, I do not think this word means what you think it means. From M-W.com:
“Definition of BOMBASTIC : marked by or given to bombast : pompous, overblown.”

Perhaps “Bomb-Tastic” would be a more suitable phrase? Nothing like watching the Central Park New Years Eve Fireworks show with a group of fellow New Yorkers, to remind one of what a terrific city we live in…
