The Iliad and the Odyssey are required reading for all Columbia freshman.
As is basic English grammar: “all Columbia freshm*E*n” (or “EVERY Columbia freshman”).
Or has Columbia done away with that prerequisite too?
But the Aeneid by Virgil is the first large work to tell the whole story of the Trojan Horse. It is only referenced lightly in book 8 in the Odyssey. I would hope that Virgil is also required reading at Columbia.
