Yay Gary!!! You did it again-another perfect cartoon!
WOO HOO. HERE IS TO PRIDE!!!!
Coming of age and coming out in the 1980s UWS, I well remember The Works, the Candle and Cahoots. I didn’t have the gumption for Les Hommes and I missed out on the Continental Baths. As my dad would marvel whenever I visited home, I must have been “Dancing Between the Raindrops!” (which is where I got the name for my autobiographical novel).
I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive community in my salad days…from retails spots like Charivari and Tommy Hilfiger on Columbus Avenue to eateries like Ernie’s , Cafe Lux and Ruskay’s.
Thank you Gary.
Love UWS Pride!
Happy Pride.
Happy Pride to all who celebrate and embrace this day.
Love is love! Happy Pride!
Proud mom of four, of whom three are LGBTQ. I cheered myself hoarse today at the parade. I like to say I’m straight but not narrow. Love is love. 💕
Happy happy PRIDE DAY!!!
Thanks, Gary! I like to think that every month is Pride Month on the UWS!
Keep Marching!
