The Shell Seafood Kitchen & Bar — at the corner of 91st Street and Amsterdam Avenue — is rolling out two new neighborhood-friendly specials: A $35 Senior Special offered daily from 4–6 pm, and a Paella-for-Two (including a bottle of wine) for $75, available Monday–Wednesday.

Whether you’re winding down the afternoon or looking for a cozy midweek meal to share, these new offerings make The Shell an even more welcoming spot for Upper West Siders.

That spirit of hospitality is no accident. Co-owners Val Crovetto and Rangu Miah met 15 years ago in the restaurant industry, bringing together decades of experience from some of the top restaurants and hotels in the country. Their expertise — from Crovetto’s James Beard Foundation award–winning service experience to Miah’s background tending bars in Miami’s best restaurants — shows in every detail.

Warm service, seasoned expertise, and now two inviting new specials — it’s no surprise The Shell is quickly becoming a local favorite. Stop by and taste what keeps neighbors coming back.

This is a great restaurant! Service is excellent but more importantly the food is fantastic. I’ve gone a few times in the last six months, tried the oysters, the steak the salmon… Everything is delicious! The staff listens, and cooks exactly to your specifications. The senior prefix is a great deal!
