The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine is proud to celebrate the 36 members of the Class of 2024 during Commencement Exercises on June 14 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, marking the end of a nine-year academic journey for these students and the beginning of a new chapter as they transition to high schools around New York City and beyond.

“Each year, our lived mission culminates with Commencement. Graduation day is a moment when our departing students, their families, and our community of educators all get to bask in the best group project ever: a successfully graduating class,” said Head of School Erica Corbin. “We are not surprised but are very proud of the next adventures awaiting our 8th graders, and we are eager to see and hear all that they will accomplish in the coming months and years.”

The Cathedral School Class of 2024 will matriculate in 27 high schools—each chosen in partnership with students and families as a best-fit for each individual learner and leader. “I’m so excited for each student to have reached this significant milestone in their academic journey,” said Director of Enrollment and Exmissions Jaclyn Berney. “The success of our students is a testament to their excellent work and a wonderful reflection of the challenging yet nurturing environment fostered by our faculty and staff.”

The Cathedral School Class of 2024 will attend:
The Beacon School
The Bronx High School of Science

One of the best decisions we made for our children was to send them to The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine. They now are thriving in college and high school as a direct result of their experience at Cathedral. It’s an amazing place! Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2024!

Best kept secret on the upper west side! Builds kids with character and integrity but also surprisingly rigorous academics. My daughter is off to Dalton well-prepared.
