All Photos by Joe Jacobs There is a large selections of cashmere items for men and women at the store!

Wrap yourself in warmth this holiday season before the neighborhood’s annual beloved pop up closes its doors on Saturday, December 17th. In its sixth year on the Upper West Side, The Cashmere Sale provides the highest-caliber wares at direct-to-consumer prices. Give the gift of superior softness and quality for approximately half of what you would pay at retail rates.

For all the ladies on your list, the sale provides the perfect layering California cashmere pieces, cozy cardigans and captivating cable knits. And for your upcoming holiday parties, there’s a selection of distinctly dignified dresses that can be perfectly paired with a vast array of wraps, ponchos or an outstanding assortment of outerwear.

The extensive men’s selection encapsulates a gorgeous lineup of rich colors in quarter-zips, henleys and classic crews to choose from among others.

There’s also loungewear for all, with men’s and women’s joggers and hoodies to snuggle in but are also entirely elevated for that inevitable errand or coffee run to look perfectly put together in comfort.

Even if you don’t know the recipients size, there are lots of great gifts at the sale including blankets, socks, gloves, scarves, wraps and ponchos.

And there are endless accessories to be purchased individually or as a matching hat, scarf and glove set in a remarkable range of colors and patterns. And don’t sleep on (or do!) the throw selection in cashmere, blends or the plushest faux fur to sink into.

The Cashmere Sale originated as a labor of love in a Greenwich, CT living room with a few fashion-forward friends wanting to bring the best quality products to the consumers in their communities. The enduring mission as a small business is for customer satisfaction, which has prevailed as The Cashmere Sale has been able to thrive and grow because of that satisfaction year after year.

Located at the corner of 2220 Broadway at West 79th Street in the former DSW space, the store is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.

Stop by and give a neighborhood hi to managers Lisa and Paula, both local longtime Upper West Side residents and moms, and keep everyone on your holiday shopping list cozy for the cold months ahead before it closes!
