At approximately 1:30 am, November 1, an alarm alerted the FDNY to a fire at the American Museum of Natural History, on Central Park West between 77th and 81st Streets. Deputy Chief Nicholas Corrado informed WSR that it was “an all-hands alert,” meaning approximately 25 pieces of equipment responded. The fire was in a first-floor closet and quickly extinguished. There were no injuries. Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
Appreciate this on-the-scene reporting during the wee hours. Thank you, Bob and WSR.
ALWAYS grateful and thankful for our FDNY and all they do everyday for all of us!
