Part-Time Employee Arrested at JCC for ‘Firearms and Fake ID Distribution’

On Thursday, a part-time employee was arrested at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, on Amsterdam Avenue at West 76th Street, “following an investigation into ‘firearms and fake ID distribution,’” according to New York Jewish Week.

WSR called the NYPD for further details and learned that the employee was female, but for more information was told to “call the feds.” We are attempting to reach them.

Rabbi Joanna Samuels, CEO of the JCC Manhattan, also could not provide more information due to the ongoing investigation, but made it clear that “there was never any imminent or presumed threat to the JCC,” in a statement to the Rag. “That said, out of an abundance of caution, we have enhanced our security measures for the time being,” she added. “We are grateful to law enforcement, and especially our local 20th Precinct, for their swift actions, and will continue to work hand in hand as they continue their investigation.”

The JCC sent an email to its community that is linked here.

If proven, can this woman be locked away for a long time? This is the scariest thing I’ve read about in Manhattan for many years. What’s worse than giving dangerous people fake id’s and guns? At least the Feds are involved, no Bragg.

The U.S. Attorney for the SDNY was appointed by Joe Biden.

So what? Fox News has told you Biden and all Democrats are soft on crime so you believe it? Meanwhile it was Republican “patriots” murdering police officers on January 6.

There are admittedly too many woke Dems in power who are soft on crime. But there are many of us who are not. Look at the DA in Atlanta who is hopefully going to take down Trump and has actively stood up to crime and gangs.

“Meanwhile it was Republican “patriots” murdering police officers on January 6.”

Didn’t occur.

By posting fake news about Jan 6th, you trivialize the seriousness of the organized coup attempt.

Uh, yes, if I recall correctly, several people died. One of brain trauma, several by suicide. So, yeah, it was a completely MAGA operation. More than 850 people are in custody.

How does this story leads to Trump?
You need to clear you’re head of the hatred inside.
He’s out of office for almost two years.
Might as well say this and all stories lead to Obama.
Same thing. Same crazy thought.

Atlanta ? Bad example. Take down Trump? He’s not the President. You need to get over the obsession with him. Why are Democrats so scared?

He’s not the president, but he’s still a criminal. Criminals need to be taken down. End of story.

“Fox News has told you”? Please retire this argument. Most of us know how to gather a process information and come to conclusions, no need to “tell us”

Juan,
Get your facts straight.
No policemen were killed on January 6, 2021.
As a matter of fact, the only person killed was an unarmed woman demonstrator, killed with a single bullet, by a Capitol police person.
This is the fact. Check it out, please.
There was a police officer who was at the Capitol on same date who died within a week off the 1.6.22 riots, from a heart attack, at home.
The DA in Manhattan is one of many in large cities in the USA who is soft of locking up criminals. Case in point, two weeks ago a 28 years old murdered a 43 years old, both men, in Times Square. Cut his throat and opened up his belly. He was caught, and a day later was let out on $10,000 bail. Really? Yes! Real;y!!!

People still don’t understand how bail works and who’s responsible for setting it.

That woman who was killed broke into a building as part of a mob.
Don’t want to get shot by an officer?
Don’t participate in a violent mob.

Joseph, you are disgraceful, offering fake news. There was never “an unarmed woman demonstrator killed.” The decedent was Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, who was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer as rioters tried to breach the House chamber. Don’t try to manipulate the facts. This is the UWS and people aren’t ignorant and naive.
