The West Side Hawks dominated Connecticut on Friday morning in the Eastern Region Little League Juniors tournament, allowing no runs against their 11. Here is Manager Jim Glasgow’s report from the field.

“We beat Connecticut State Champs Torrington Little League 11-0 today behind the pitching of Bennett Harrison who had 3 strikeouts and Julian Glasgow who had 6 strikeouts. WS Hawks had 10 hits and 8 RBI’s to score 11 runs.

“WS Hawks play Massachusetts State Champs Canton LL from Canton, MA on Sunday at 10 AM. A win would put WS Hawks in the semi-final game on Monday August 8th.

“The team is having a lot of fun and so are the parents. Really nice!”

Go Hawks!
