A Summer Job That Makes Lasting Memories

Looking for a fulfilling summer? An opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, fun, and meaningful environment? Apply to work at one of the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan’s two amazing summer day camps, Day Camp @ The JCC on the Upper West Side or Camp Settoga in Pomona, NY.

As a counselor, you’ll create memories for campers that will last a lifetime, serve as a role model, and create strong bonds with campers and staff alike. Camp is a unique place to develop and practice life skills—working with others, forging relationships, practicing things you love, and much more.

But wait—there’s more. The JCC offers a competitive salary and access to its Fitness Center and Pool. Internship credit may also be available. Based on job performance, counselors are eligible to receive an end-of-summer bonus. A staff referral bonus is also available. For every staff member that you recommend and we hire who completes the summer, you’ll receive an additional $100 at the end of the summer. Settoga positions include transportation to and from camp, plus daily lunch and snacks.

Working at JCC Camps is much more than just another summer job. The personal growth, the rewards of working with children, the excitement of an energetic and active workplace, the amazing community, and the close friendships that you build will stay with you long after summer ends. It’s much more than fun and games; it’s a place to learn the skills that employers are looking for:

Positions available for those entering grade 11 and up.

For more information, visit mmjcccm.org/camps, call 646.505.4430, or email Genna Singer at gsinger@mmcjccm.org.

Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
