A 29-year-old man named Nayquan Garden was found after 3 a.m. on the corner of 105th Street and Columbus Avenue with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to police. Garden was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Garden lived at 870 Columbus Avenue, a building in the Douglass Houses NYCHA development between 103rd and 104th Streets.
Police are investigating the homicide. No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning.
