Join Schechter Manhattan at a Virtual Info Session for prospective parents to speak with and hear from administrators, alumni, and parents of current students on June 4th at 8 pm. Schechter’s core values—a student-centered approach, responsive learning and teaching, and a welcoming, inclusive Jewish community—have made the transition to distance learning easy. Both our teachers and students are adaptive and curious, which means that learning from home has presented exciting new opportunities, rather than challenges.
Students have transformed homes into a joyful extension of the classroom. They’re writing memoirs, designing physics experiments and living museums, and working on Schechter’s annual STEAMFEST, all while using Zoom, screencasts, and other tools to work with their classmates and teachers.
Parents have been thrilled by the opportunity to see how their children are building vital problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

For older students, Schechter Manhattan continues to provide individualized high school and college placement assistance, based on our deep understanding of each student and how they learn best.
