66-Year-Old Reported Missing from 72nd Street

The NYPD sent out a missing person alert on Tuesday night about a 66-year-old man named Robert Meyer.

Meyer lives at 253 West 72nd Street and was last seen there on Feb. 29 around 9 p.m. “He is described as a male, White, approximately 5’11, between 200-210lbs, with salt and pepper hair, and wearing glasses.”

Anyone with information in regard to this missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.

This is sad. He lives very close to me and I have no recollection of seeing him before. Did he just walk out of his home or was here somewhere else at the time he went missing? I hope he’s found safely.

I hope so too. These cases are always heartbreaking. I wonder if the woman missing last winter was ever found? WSR?
