Are you 50 or older and find technology to be moving at a daunting rate? Do you want to brush up on your computer skills? Get into social media? Is your smartphone driving you crazy with all those confusing apps? Trying to figure out what to do with all the photos of your grandchildren that your kids keep sending? Has Amazon’s Alexa gone rogue on you?

If you answered yes to any of these, SeniorTechNYC at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is for you.

One of the JCC’s original volunteer programs, SeniorTechNYC offers computer and mobile device classes for adults taught by knowledgeable volunteers. Classes are one to three sessions long and held in the JCC’s state-of-the-art Andy Kates Multi-Media Lab.

JCC members receive a discount on class fees. All registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Not a member yet? Click here for more info or stop by our membership lounge at 334 Amsterdam Avenue @ 76th Street.

Fall 2018 offerings include:

  • Android Phone
  • Apps for iPad and iPhone
  • Basic and Advanced iPhone
  • Computer Lingo
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Internet Dating
  • Managing Your Passwords

To peruse our list of classes, or if you have any questions, click here or call our hotline at 646.505.4390. We’ll get back to you with the answers you need.

Have computer expertise and wish to volunteer? Share your technical knowledge with others. Teach a class or be a coach/teaching assistant. Never taught? We’ll work with you.  Email us at seniortechnyc@jccmanhattan.org or call us at 646.505.4390.

We can’t wait to welcome you. Before long, you’ll be the envy of your peer group—and maybe even your kids.
