A thief was caught on an overhead camera swiping the cash register from St. James Gate Bar at 441 Amsterdam Avenue (81st Street). Police released the video and description below.
It has been reported to police that on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at approximately 0515 hours, the individual entered 441 Amsterdam Avenue (St. James Gate Bar), by forcing the front window. Once inside, the individual proceeded to remove the drawer from the cash register which contained $600.
The individual is described as follows:
Male, White, with beard, partially bald.
