Riverside Park’s free movies at Pier I at 70th Street are back and will be running every Wednesday through August 16. The movies start around sunset, after 8:30 p.m.

If I recall correctly I once saw a film outside in Bryant Park, but I’ve never seen a film on the pier before. Is the small black box at the front of the audience the movie screen?
