I wonder how he got into the women’s locker room at Reebok/Equinox? Or into a locker which is coded?

Welcome to the new “PC” world. It is all about whatever gender someone is “comfortable” with; and IIRC by NYC statue trans have to be allowed in “female” dressing and bathrooms. This regardless of the equipment they are packing and or how they are presenting themselves.

Remember earlier this year when a group of UWS school girls encountered a “man in a wig” in the female dressing room at local pool?

You appear to be struggling with the difference between gender and sex. You likely also think sexual preference is a choice. I’m sorry this is a hurdle for you — it really stinks for you and for the LGBTQ people you insult with those opinions.

Why are you jumping down my throat? Only stated the “why” of how such a person could get into a female locker room. Rather tame observation and comment in comparison to what else is being said.

Of course they do; but in today’s PC/equality world and under de Blasio’s administration NYPD would be crucified for saying such. So they just stick with “unknown person”.

Re: “So they just stick with ‘unknown person’.”

Well, THAT’s because they obviously do NOT watch the long-running (possibly from A.D. 1476) police procedural “Criminal Minds”!

For, if they did, they would know the correct term is “UnSub”, meaning “Unknown Subject”, which “The Team” (including “J.J.” (who’s way-y-y up on the list of “Hot Blondes on Prime-time TV”) is always babbling about catching.

Love how NYPD used “unknown individual” to skirt the issue of assigning a gender to the perpetrator.

45 Columbus Ave is Fordham University. 132 West 65th Street is David Geffen/Avery Fisher Hall, and 1841 Broadway is a medical building. How is this “unknown person” just waltzing into these places and taking things?

As for the gym theft anyone these days who brings anything valuable with them while working out wants to have their head examined. Thefts from gym locker rooms or elsewhere are so common now it almost boarders on cliché.

One anecdote: I swim at the JCC and the guy using the locker next to mine put his wallet into my locker.

I swim there as well …just curious….. Have you ever heard of any locker-room thefts at the JCC?

I only recently began using a lock (that i found).

The combination is written on the back.

Some members and guests even leave their belongings in unlocked lockers. A few members leave belongings overnight In lockers without or with a lock which is prohibited by JCC. A posted sign says : Items left overnight in lockers will be removed and donated to charity. Security and video placement is pretty good

Possibly this person has a student ID card? As for getting into the medical building I’ve noticed that’security’ guards on the UWS are usually just there for show. I’ve never had anyone ask me for my ID or even ask which floor I was going to.

If the “unknown person” had an ID card (assuming you mean Fordham), then LE would only have to comb through those files to find him/her.

The fact this person got far as an elevator (from one of the above pictures), yes does pose interesting questions as to how deep security goes at some places.

Sad thing is today when a wallet, purse or whatever containing ID is stolen it can leave someone open for ID theft. Not only do you have to cancel bank/credit card accounts but spend months checking credit reports and otherwise making sure new accounts are opened, and or other fraud has not been committed in one’s name.

You can’t just walk in to the Equinox at 67th Street and waltz into the locker room. There’s a huge front desk and a dedicated staff to scan every person in. So how did this person do so?

That’s what I’ve been wondering. Equinox isn’t casual about scanning, for obvious reasons. Sounds like someone let a “friend” in.

This happened last night. Woman approached to young women walking a small dog. Told them she had a gun. When they said they didn’t have anything she searched them but eventualy let them go. Them proceeded to try it with a man up the street near Broadway. He tussled with her when she tried to grab his jacket. She ran in to the subway…he chased her and got a picture. Then he went to police station as did the two women and confirmed it was the same attacker. No confirmation if she actually had a gun. But police now have a picture. Hope you can print it.

Wondering if its same woman.

Are you kidding me. You could see that this was a man a mile away. This gender thing is getting out of hand. I don’t care about their rights I care about women and girls right to privacy among real females.
