TRUCK COLLIDES WITH TREE ON BROADWAY; TREE LOSES

A truck hit a tree branch on Broadway and 72nd street Thursday night just outside Bloomingdale’s.

“A truck drove too close to the curb (suspected) and took a branch with it at about 8 p.m. last night,” wrote Barbie Golan. “Fire men promptly took the whole branch off. From walking by it didn’t look like anyone got hurt but it did happen right above the fruit man (outside Bloomingdale’s).”

Drive safe, people.

Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration.
