Madonna’s in a legal battle with her Upper West Side coop. “Madge’s suit against Harperley Hall on West 64th Street and Central Park West says the board illegally changed her original proprietary lease in April 2014 to say that her children and domestic help cannot live in the unit unless she herself is ‘in residence’ at the time.”
Residents at 400 Central Park West on 100th street are smoking too much pot and making too much noise, according to a new lawsuit filed by the condo board. ” The Bermans have been fined by the board 20 times for the pot smoke and owe $12,084 in back common charges and $10,000 in legal fees, according to court papers.” Apparently it’s all quite fragrant. “Sometimes it feels like you’re coming off the elevators and walking into a scene out of a Cheech & Chong movie,” one resident told the Post.
Meet Leslie Vosshall and her compost pail, the subject of a New York Times story. “By day, she oversees the Laboratory of Neurogenetics and Behavior at Rockefeller University, nicknamed the Smell Lab; by night, she improvises dinner out of whatever ingredients are on hand in the Upper West Side apartment she shares with her husband, Kevin Lee, a fellow neurobiologist; her 13-year-old daughter, Ophelia; and a tarantula named Cuddles.”
An anonymous Brooklyn artist is taking credit for the Trump tombstone placed in Central Park. “X said that it took 5 months to plan for and execute the headstone, which depicts Trump’s name over the epitaph ‘Made America Hate Again'”

A bicyclist came whizzing by and a strong summer breeze insinuated under his lemon-colored slicker and lifted it skyward so that he appeared ready to fly off if he so wished.”
