    UPPER WEST SIDE MAN GOES MISSING (UPDATE: FOUND)

    The police are looking for an Upper West Side man who went missing on Saturday at 1 a.m.

    Update: He was found, a friend of the family tells us! “At hospital under misspelled name. He’s okay,” writes Tami Luhby.

    A Silver Alert has been issued for Manfred Scharfstein, an 89-year-old white male from West 96th Street and Broadway, Manhattan.

    Description: 6’1″ tall & 165 lbs; thin build with short white hair. He was last seen wearing a beige trench coat, a gray Kangol hat, and black shoes. Mr. Scharfstein may be wearing glasses.

    Last Seen: In the area of West 96th Street and Broadway in Manhattan at approximately 1:00 AM on 3/26.

    If you see Mr. Scharfstein, please call 9-1-1.
