Now that we have nice chairs, let’s have a meeting! Photo by Melissa Bryant.

If meetings are your thing, this is your week.

Monday at 7: Linda Rosenthal and Comptroller Scott Stringer host a town hall meeting at the Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center, 250 West 65th street. Bring your complaints and concerns, and maybe a snack.

Tuesday at 6:30: The city will present a plan for a bike lane and pedestrian-friendly changes on Amsterdam Avenue in a meeting that is sure to be packed and rollicking. It’s at Redeemer Church, 150 West 83rd Street (Amsterdam-Columbus Avenues).

Wednesday at 7: The Central Park NYPD Precinct is holding a community council meeting at the precinct, 86th Street & Transverse Road.

Thursday at 6:30: Meet at the Museum of Natural History (77th street entrance) to hear about the museum’s plans for a new building. This could also be rollicking.

Please limit comments to 150 words and keep them civil and relevant to the article at hand. Comments are closed after six days. Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate. A detailed statement on comments and WSR policy can be read here.
