Lincoln Square will be filled with food stations, concerts and performances on Monday evening for the Winter’s Eve festival.
The festival stretches from the Time Warner Center at 59th street to 68th and Broadway and runs from 5:30 to 9. it kicks off at 5:30 with a tree lighting ceremony with Arlo Guthrie, Kinky Boots and Billy Porter at Dante Park on Broadway between 63rd and 64th.
From 6 to 8:30, there will be dozens of booths serving food from local restaurants in small plates costing $1 to $4. The full list is here, and includes chili con carne from Porter House, spicy tuna rolls from super-chic sushi spot Masa, polenta from Tavern on the Green and Mexican hot chocolate and guacamole from Rosa Mexicano. The lines can get long at the popular booths.
