If there were any way I could attend, I would — I encourage those who do to speak out against the ridiculous cancellation of the small arts and crafts fair on Columbus.
Councilmember Helen Rosenthal will be speaking on the issue of saving the Crafts Fair. Other people who support this position should attend and get on the speaker’s list. It comes right at the beginning of the meeting.
I can’t even imagine how Cibo E Vino thinks it can accommodate an unenclosed sidewalk cafĆ© with 26 tables and 52 seats within the tiny footprint they occupy without clogging pedistrian traffic. I hope CB7 is paying attention.
Re: “…Parm Upper West LLC, d/b/a To be Determined….Primavera Mexicana Inc., d/b/a To be Determined.”
Well, “To Be Determined” IS a pretty cool name for a restaurant…but they both can’t have the same name, can they??
š
p.s.: WORST restaurant name ever was probably that place called “Aged”. One was never sure if name referred to the meat…or to the clientele.
Maybe Next would be more appropriate. Unfortunately, it’s already been taken.
I spoke to one of the workers this morning at the future VARQ at 2588 Broadway (formerly Alouette) it will be an Indian restaurant.
Thanks for posting the agenda – very helpful.
agreed
Anyone with any insights on the liquor license application for the old Indian Cafe space at 2791 Broadway? Walked past the other day and looked like something was happening.
Planning to write on it soon. We hear it’s going to be an Italian restaurant.
