A woman chased a dog into the icy lake at the Harlem Meer in Central Park at around 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, witnesses and police officers told the Daily News. The woman was pulled out and taken to St. Luke’s hospital. A police spokesman said the woman refused medical attention, and that she went home with the dog. “Her life wasn’t really in danger,” he said. “She was embarrassed.”
The dog’s condition was unclear.
