Attacca Quartet Recital

Alice Tully Hall (1941 Broadway)

Juilliard’s 2012-2013 graduate string quartet-in-residence performs the 20th Annual Lisa Arnhold Memorial Recital. Formed at Juilliard in 2003, this quartet of extraordinary string players has been playing together since their undergraduate years, and includes violinists Amy Schroeder and Keiko Tokunaga, violist Luke Fleming, and cellist Andrew Yee. They will perform works by Haydn, Bartók, and Dvořák

Winner of the 2013 Petschek Piano Recital Award, Zhang Zuo’s performances have been hailed as “powerful, passionate, and compelling representation of pure artistry,” (L.A. Times) and “full of enthusiasm and glamour, radiating the vigor of youth” (Gramophone, China). Making her Alice Tully Hall debut, Ms. Zuo will perform works by Ligeti, Ravel, Liszt, Schumann, and a New York premiere by Zhou Long. Past Petschek winners include remarkable artists such as Jeremy Denk, Akira Eguchi, and Joyce Yang
