A man stopped his Mercedes-Benz in front of Fairway on Sunday night and popped the hood. That’s when the engine apparently exploded and flames shot up about two feet in the air, said Sachin, who was standing across the street when it happened and took the pictures below.
Someone ran to get a fire extinguisher, probably from Fairway, and the blaze was out within minutes. No one appeared to be injured, and Sachin took these photos after the fire was out.
