Seven surrealist sculptures have been placed on the Broadway median, replacing Peter Woytuk’s delicately balanced sculptures of birds and other animals. The new sculptures are at 57th, 62nd, 72nd, 73rd, 79th, 117th and 157th streets. (DNAinfo)
There are college students who attend universities but never go to class. And then there’s Birva Patel, who was not a Columbia student, but attended classes nonetheless under the name “Rhea Sen.” She just got arrested after allegedly continuing the ruse for 9 months.“She just had this weird vibe,” said Anna Prouty, BC ’14, who met Patel at UNI Café in April. “I love awkward people—I’m kind of awkward—but it wasn’t like that. Sorry Lisa, didn’t get the info. We don’t always check on the cause if a crash doesn’t appear to have resulted in injuries.
I think the taxi driver is point at a cyclist running a light… 😉
