BIKE-IN MOVIE COMING TO RIVERSIDE PARK

A rep for Schwinn contacted us about a pretty unique event coming to Riverside Park next Saturday (June 23) — a bike-in movie! No you won’t be watching the entire movie from your bicycle seat, and who would want to. And you don’t have to ride your bike to the movie. But Schwinn and US Weekly will have extra bike racks available and a security guard (presumably big and burly) to watch over them. They’ll be showing Puss in Boots. The event starts at 6 and the movie starts at 8:30. It’s at Pier 1 in the park around 70th Street.

Update: Schwinn will also raffle off 5 bikes. Here’s an interactive map of the event.

You can expect to find:

·         Additional bike racks with hired security guard for the night
·         Free popcorn and ice cones
·         Free water bottles
·         Bike Trial Tent
·         Instagram Photo Booth
·         Step and Repeat Photo Booth
·         200 foldable seats for viewing pleasure
·         1 On-site Bike giveaway
·         Special Appearance by Dancing With The Stars Derek Hough
·         Movie will be a screening of Puss In Boots
·         Foursquare check-ins
