The spot that formerly housed Nëo Sushi on the corner of 83rd Street and Broadway has stood empty for 2 years. But notices posted to the windows indicate that it won’t be empty for long.
Scot, one of our readers, sent word this week that local store owners are buzzing about a new Chipotle Mexican Grill going into the spot. It would be the second Chipotle in the neighborhood — there’s another one on Amsterdam between 72nd and 73rd.
A manager at the 73rd Street store told me yesterday that the company is planning on opening a new Upper West Side location soon, but he wasn’t sure of the exact location. If you see anything, keep us updated!
