Get Ready for the US Open and see the Savannah Bananas this Sunday! Free, but if you’re over 18, you need to register for a US Open Fan Access Pass
The best three weeks of summer are upon us, and though the action’s in Queens, it’s an easy commute from the UWS – just a quick transfer to the 7 at 42nd Street, and, boom, you’re there.
The fun starts this Sunday, August 23rd, with Arthur Ashe Kids Day, a festival of free tennis-related activities and games, plus the Savannah Bananas. You can take this weekend to plan your next three weeks of US Open-related fun, much of it free. Check out WSR’s 2026 Guide to the U.S. Open for details and tips.
See “All My Sons” Live at Symphony Space: Sunday, August 23rd at 6 p.m.; Symphony Space Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater at Broadway and West 95th Street; tickets start at $22
Bryan Cranston in an Arthur Miller classic directed by Ivo van Hove for $22 to $25 at Symphony Space sounds like a good deal to me! You can catch a recorded version of the 2026 West End production on Sunday at 6 p.m. as part of SS’s “National Theater Live” programming. Running time is 135 minutes.
