The new Mermaid Inn Upper West Side location is now expected to open sometime in August.

The Mermaid Inn, which closed its popular UWS location last year, is returning to the neighborhood on 76th and Columbus.

The owners plan to relocate the popular restaurant elsewhere on the Upper West Side and hope to be open by late spring or early summer.
