Can WSR confirm, is this the same Elena Baksht listed all over Google as a classical pianist and co-founder and director of the Southampton Arts Festival? More details would be welcome. Surprising that weeks went by before the disappearance of a high-profile performer was noticed/reported.

I googled the name as well. I hope they find her and she’s ok.

Very sad that it took a month before the public even heard about this.

This same women went missing a few years back. In fact, I remember seeing the notice here. Same circumstances as well.

Wow, you’re right. WSR reported her missing in October 2019. Sounds like a troubled person. I hope they find her.

Oh no…. she’s an incredible artist and a wonderful
teacher. She looks a bit different in person, slimmer face and more beautiful.
She taught my kid, and was hospitalized twice in a short period. This is very sad, I imagine it’s related to some medication (or lack of). I’m not sure how to help….
