POLICE LOOKING FOR MISSING MAN FROM 105TH STREET (UPDATE: FOUND)

1682-16 Missing Person

Police are looking for a 26-year-old man who they say was last seen on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in front of his residence on 105th street.

It has been reported to police that the missing was last seen on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at approximately 8:30 a.m. in front of his residence.  The missing is described as follows:

Gibson, Romael
52 West 105 Street
Male, black, 26 years-old, approximately 5’9″.

      The man is in his 20’s. Looks like he’s in good health.
      Why are the police looking for him?
      It’s only two days since he was last seen.
      You did not report the reason he’s being looked for.
      Please elaborate.

        Police sent it out as a missing person, meaning a relative most likely asked police for help in locating the person.

      The address given is a building that provides permanent supportive housing for those with mental health diagnoses. I live around the corner. The agency, The Bridge, has several sites on the UWS. Assume the police are aware of this and they just didn’t not want to violate his privacy or alarm people.
