Try Core Teachings of MBSR, this 4 week class offers you the core transformative lessons of MBSR modeled on the teachings of Jon Kabat-Zinn. This program is especially helpful for migraine headaches, anxiety and depression, insomnia, and skin and GI symptoms, and you can expect lasting results. Bernice Todres, MA LFABI, a physiologist and psychologist, has been teaching MBSR for 24 years.

Free during August? Sign up for the retreat, Summer in the City: A Five-Day Intensive in Mindfulness. Traditional MBSR courses last 8 weeks which is why this 5 day program is perfect for people who have time off in August and want an introduction to MBSR. Enrich your summer and take the time to learn formal mindfulness practices and engage in the cultivation of kind, curious, and patient responses to the stresses of daily life.
