Are you an early riser with some free time on Fridays? Good Morning America hosts free concerts at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield on Friday mornings during the summer and the first one is this Friday, May 19 at 7 a.m. (you’re encouraged to arrive at 6 a.m. when the park opens). Green Day will be playing.
Rumsey Playfield is on the East side of the park near 71st Street.

How to Attend a Summer Concert
*The Chainsmokers concert (6/9) will require tickets in advance for entry. Tickets will be available closer to the performance date. Click here for information on how to obtain free tickets.
*The Bebe Rexha concert (6/30) will be held in our Times Square studio. The Dierks Bentley concert info will be announced at a later date.
All other concerts are free and open to the public and will take place on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET.
Viewers interested in joining “GMA” in Central Park are encouraged to arrive at Rumsey Playfield via the 72nd Street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6 a.m. when the park opens to the public.
