The Irish Dance Festival at Summer on the Hudson.
Summer on the Hudson, a city program of spring and summer events along the Hudson River — mostly in Riverside Park — starts next month. We’ve pasted the schedule below.
Of particular interest this year is a new literary festival called AmpLit taking place on Saturday, June 11 in Riverside Park at the 70th street pier. “AmpLit Fest is a free, daylong festival that brings authors of all backgrounds, styles, and levels of recognition to center stage. With readings, workshops, panels, and a community market, AmpLit Fest makes one of life’s most solitary acts — writing — a public celebration.” Here’s an early look at the tentative schedule.
There are other events in the park over the summer that we’ll be highlighting soon, include concerts near the tennis courts in the 90’s and outdoor movies.
