Thieves continue to target the iPhone 6, as police reported another grand larceny involving an Apple phone. A 22 year old man left his iPhone 6+ on the counter of the Subway store at 33 West End Avenue, and returned to find it gone, police say. His phone was in an otterbox case. The incident occurred on March 23 at 10:30 a.m. The total value of the theft was $1010.
A patient’s Mac Laptop was stolen from one of the patient examination rooms at Upper West Side Dermatology, 277 West End Avenue on March 20th at 4:00 pm, police say. The 13” computer was valued at $1,200.
Another grand larceny occurred in the women’s locker room at Steps, the popular dance school at 2121 Broadway. According to police, March 24 at 4:00 pm, a 24 year old woman put her wallet in a cubby in the locker room before a class and when she returned minutes later, the wallet was missing. The woman was able to cancel her credit cards before any charges could be made.
